Before any management of your veins can take place, you will have a complete consultation with one of our physicians to determine what the best course of therapy will be for you. We offer both sclerotherapy and laser therapy as treatments.

Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a series of injections of a medication (sclerosing agent) using a very small needle. The medication irritates the lining of the vein causing it to collapse and eventually disappear. Sclerotherapy requires no freezing, and causes only minimal discomfort. You may return to your normal daily activity immediately following the procedure.

Laser Therapy
The laser energy safely passes through the skin and is selectively absorbed by the targeted blood vessel. The vein gradually disappears. The cooling mechanism of the laser minimizes the mild discomfort. The length and number of procedures required may vary.
